Summit, a goal app
A mobile app for iOS and Android where every goal is a summit you climb, with Pico the goat as your companion.

Context
A goals app for people who start goals and want to actually reach them.
The challenge
Goals are easy to start and hard to finish. The idea was to make progress visible and rewarding, and to bring people back gently instead of nagging them.
My role
Mobile app development.
How I approached it
- The product was prototyped end to end before it was built, so the key screens and flows were settled early.
- Every goal becomes a summit, with milestones along a trail and small steps that earn XP, so a big goal feels climbable.
- Daily and weekly habits come with streaks and rest days, so a missed day does not end the effort.
- Pico the goat celebrates progress and reacts when you drift away, and reminders adapt to how you use the app.
- The app is built once for both iPhone and Android, so every improvement reaches both at once.
What I built
- Goals as summits, split into milestones along a trail, each with small steps that earn XP
- Daily and weekly habits with streaks and rest days
- Pico the goat as a mascot who celebrates progress and reacts when you drift away
- Smart reminders that adapt to how you use the app
- A Free and Plus model
How the app works
Summit turns a goal into something you climb. Here is the idea, step by step:
- You choose a goal, and it becomes a summit.
- The summit is split into milestones along a trail, so you always see how far you have come and what is next.
- Each milestone has small steps, and every step you complete earns XP. Progress is felt every day, not only at the end.
- Daily and weekly habits sit alongside your goals, with streaks and rest days, so a planned break is part of the routine.
- Pico the goat is your companion: Pico celebrates your progress and reacts when you drift away, a gentle way to bring you back.
- Reminders adapt to how you use the app.
- The app has a Free and a Plus plan.
Design principles
A few principles shape the whole app:
- Make progress visible: the mountain and trail show the distance covered and the distance left at a glance.
- Reward small steps: XP for small actions keeps a big goal from feeling out of reach.
- Be gentle about breaks: rest days and a mascot who reacts to your absence, rather than a cold overdue counter.
- Prototype first: the product was prototyped end to end before it was built, so the key screens and flows were settled early.
- One app for both phones: iPhone and Android share the same foundation, so every improvement reaches both at once.
- Built with my agent team: Summit is where I use the CTO-agent workflow described in the multi-agent project.
What it brought
Summit is a mobile app for iOS and Android, with a Free and Plus model. It shows the kind of app I can build for your own idea, from the first sketch to a working product.
Could this work for you?
If you have an app idea, I can take it from the first sketch to the App Store and Google Play.
